Only large images are stored in separate files. All of them are already extracted.
Smaller images (some of them are called Sprites) are stored in DAT/TAB pairs or divided into small parts (subtiles) and stored in DAT files with linking index at the beginning.

If you wish to do something with those bitmaps, you should know that all menu items are in greater resolution on Mac platform version. The problem is that Mac version menu is in 16 colors, so its overall quality is much lower than PC version.
