Agents purporting to represent EuroCorp have carried out covert operations in sectors of interest to us.

Reconnaissance of these areas is desired. Agents should include assessments of their new mods in their reports.

It is evident from this message that our activities have been monitored by rogue agents with access to cyber-technology. Some of this technology may be more advanced than our own - we do not know what development resources this group has at its disposal.

The message has been traced to destinations in Hong Kong, Beijing and Phoenix. Deploy a team of cyborgs to track down and neutralise all unauthorised agents. Our resident AI is now modifying these cities' surveillance systems to detect agents equipped with advanced cybernetic enhancements. Seek out these agents. They must be persuaded to join us or be exterminated.

Additional: Study of the Indoctrinator components you recovered from Phoenix has revealed how the Church of the New Epoch gains converts. The cultists' device contains UTOPIA command-compatible transceiver circuitry. In other words, our enemy has something similar in function to our Persuadertron. Every component is made of a memory plastic which instantly bio-degrades when a zealot's lifesign sensor stops working. This is why we have never found anything on the bodies of cultists, which would have accounted for their power of persuasion. With further study, our R&D staff expect to design a more effective Persuadertron for us, one which would work on zealots.

MISSION OBJECTIVE:

Kill the rogue agents.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

An intercepted message explains that three agents, purporting to represent the EuroCorp, have carried out covert operations. These rogue agents have monitored EuroCorp activities. We must neutralise all unauthorised agents. In the mean time: the technology we stole in the previous Mission was an indoctrinator, which is the item that converts people for their "religion". It works almost the same way as our persuadertron. We are going to try to build an advanced persuadertron, which can persuade also Zealots.

MISSION TACTICS:

REF 7 was designed to have the time to research some weapons. During the three REF 7 missions I researched the long-range rifle, the laser and some cybernetic modifications. The missions from REF 7 missions are very easy.

First you will encounter 5 ex-EuroCorp agents. In the town, there are some operatives who will bother you with lasers. Next, take the yellow car on the east side of the town to gain access to the rogue agent. You can blow up the gate, but it can also destroy the bridge and there's no other to reach him. With the car you can drive to the rogue agent, kill him, and drive back to the IML link. That's all folks.

Unfortunately, you will have to kill the first Agents and Adversaries. Then, ambush the cars: with Agents, with Adversaries, and with Police. If you don't eliminate them now, they will harass you throughout the mission.

Any Police officers on foot will be easy to persuade. When your crowd consists of a lot of men and at least 2 cops, try perusading the Adversaries. After you get a few, you are ready for the mission.

You can also kill the Zealots - if you give the perusaded people weapons from the crashed cars, you shouldn't have any problems. They only have Electron Maces. If you stand your ground while fighting them rather than escaping like a coward, an additional Zealot with 20k cr suitcase and IFF will exit the temple.

Enter the compound with the target agent. Prepare everything for a fast retreat - right after perusadating (or killing) him, you should quickly get back into the car and ride away. You have only a few seconds - then Satelite Rain will drop on the bridge.

If you are unlikely to make it in time, try to stay within the compound with the agent, in corner of the map. If you survive, a plane will come for you to return with.

If you eliminated all the threatening cars, expect no more obstacles during your evacuation.

Additional hints

Police and Adversaries are mostly armed with Lasers, but there are also some miniguns.

If you consider leveling entrance to the compound with High Explosive - that's a bad idea. The bridge will collapse as well if you do that.

You will receive 100,000 credits for completing the mission, without a need to pick up any suitcase in game.

Standing your ground while fighting Zealots means being on the ground within vicinity of the church while the last zealot dies (the alleyway with obelisks counts), but any bridges do not.
