PC Briefing

May faith burn within you, Favourite One.

Our oracles tell us that a supremely important Syndicate official called KotoSek is visiting Cairo. He has a powerful entourage and is well-protected. However, in the name of all that is right, he must die.

KotoSek plans to board a shuttle for parts unknown. Stop him as soon as you can. Make sure that he is dead before you report back. If there are other casualties, then that is the way of things. I am sure you are used to that now.

Go forth.

Not only will all eyes be on the leaders of men, but all combat sights as well.

An extremely important Syndicate official, called Kotosek, is visiting Cairo. He is well protected, but he must die. Make sure he is dead before you report back, ok? We shall poke him with a stick to check.

Upgrade and buy four Launchers. You will need these to take care of vehicles in future missions.

You will have to strategically think about this mission. Your mission is to kill Kotosek, but you don't want to alert the battalion guarding him. My advice is to sneak up to his location by staying left. Wait by the fence - the enemy should not attack you at this position. Use the launcher to kill Kotosek as he approaches, then get the hell outha dodge, as the enemy pursues you to your base.

Well done, that was quite a tricky mission. For your cunning, you should have researched the Grenade, and Arms level two.

Assassinate KotoSek. The Syndicate hates him too, so they've given him a cadre of deaf and blind bodyguards.

Seriously, practically none of these guys react to anything, making this mission very easy.

Take your zealots and head south to the junction in the road. Killing anyone in your way (they're fairly spread out and tend not to react much), make your way to the row of buildings just south of the large shuttle and the tower blocks. You'll have made enemies of a few operatives who will arrive in ones and twos to kill you, shoot them until they stop coming.

From here you're in sniping range of the agents guarding the armored cars, none of whom will react in the slightest while you gun them down. After you've done that KotoSek will return to this area, you can kill him and depart.

If you really want the epidermis I guess you could equip a clone shield (there were plenty in Tripoli) to grab it, but seriously, it's the Flame one, do you really care?

Resolution uncertainty: Very low

New research: none

New weapons: none

Possible loot: Epidermis v2, 7 Agents

There's a lot of Adversaries on the level. Fortunately, if you attack one, you only alert a group near him, not everyone. So eliminate the groups, and avoid disturbing the largest one. You will mostly use LR Rifles, but you may also want to switch to Launchers if the Adversaries are getting within range of their Pulse Lasers.

The executive you are supposed to kill will arrive seconds after you. He will first walk towards the Eurocorp Agent at the edge of the map. Then he will visit the building with Epidermis, near Adversary battalion. After he exits the building, he will talk to each of the battalion Adversaries, and next to each of the Advrsaries around his shuttle. Finally, the Eurocorp Agent from the edge will aproach him for a final word before his departure. Next he will just enter his Shuttle and leave the map.

You can either kill him before he gets the shuttle, or destroy the shuttle and keep him alive until you're ready. And you may want to prepare yourelf, bacause as soon as the Executive is dead, two flying cars with Agents spawn at top right corner of the map. It would be hard to handle these in the same time, so hide within a building to recharge.

Clone Shield will be very useful in this mission. You can use it to steal any of the flying cars, or take the Epidermis mod, or kill the target executive when he's inside a building.

Talking about killing the executive within building - that's actually the easiest approach. So after the mission starts, you may fight the nearby Adversaries to kill time (it will take a while for the executive to enter the building). Then wait to recharge your weapon power to at least a half, equip Clone Shields, and enter the visited building. Adversaries and Agents will not react. Equip LR Rifles, treat your Acolytes with some Blue Funk and wait for the executive to approach. He will be dead as soon as he opens the door, and the two flying cars won't be able to do anything above this short building.

Now, what to do if you're within a building, with two enemy cars above you, and a battalion of enemies at entrance? Arm a High Explosive inside, equip Clone Shields again and escape. The falling building will destroy the flying cars, and take out some of the Adversaries as well. Remember to pick up Epidermis while still in the building - it might be harder to do in the open.

Finish the evacuation, and continue cleaning the map with the "mission complete" message already on screen.

If you use the flying vehicles to persuade most people frim the map, you will be able to persuade some Agents. They have all v2 mods, and are equiped with Lasers.

Tech ex machina

If you attack the Adversaries from a hill, they won't be able to approach you in straight line, and will have to go around, where the path is less steep. This gives your LR Rifles more time to reload.

You were blessed by this premonition from Cairo episkopy, please do not reply.
