These are just standard SMK files. There is nothing more to rework.
Everyone can convert these files to AVI or watch them from outside the game using "RAD Video Tools". See RAD Game Tools page. The other program that can play SMK files is MPlayer - open-source video player available for many platforms. It can also play movies from PSX version.
