The B key will remove all structures from view as long as you hold it down. Buildings (and pretty much anything but people and vehicles and the street) become completely invisible, in other words.
The F11 key is your gamma correction. It makes the game brighter. Alternatively, hit Shift-F11 to make the game darker.
ALT-D will cause a selected agent to self-destruct, provided it at least has Body Level 1. This is an extremely costly decision to make, so don't suicide an agent if you don't have to. However, this would be an excellent thing to tell a friend to do under the guise it is a cheat that will give them unlimited money or something.
The minus key will reduce the game speed, while plus will increase it. You do not have to press shift while pressing either key to make them work.
P pauses the game. From here you can choose to quit the mission you're currently on (which for most (but not all) of the missions causes you to get a Game Over).
R restarts the current mission. It will prevent Game Over on one of the last three missions if you hit it quickly enough after losing.
Clicking on your weapons energy bar (that big thing on the extreme left
of the screen) pumps all of your weapon energy into your agents' personal
force fields.
Clicking again turns it off.
Your agents' PFFs will briefly be disabled after this.
Heat vision can be activated by clicking on the triangle below the weapons energy bar. This sometimes makes it easier to discern enemies from the scenery, but reduces your energy progressively while it is on.
See "Game controls" section for full list of keyboard shortcuts.
You can pass weapons between agents in the Equip screen by dragging a weapon onto the number of the agent you want to give it to.
You can actually carry more than 6 weapons. You may never carry more than 6 energy weapons (or 5 energy weapons and 1 Satelite Rain). However, you may carry ALL of the expended weapons (High Explosives, Nuclear Handgrenades, the gasses, etc) in addition to your energy weapons. You can usually pick them up, or buy them for an agent with a free slot, and then give them to another agent.
Left-clicking a crashing vehicle (to exit) just before it crashes and explodes can sometimes save your agents. This is even more effective if you right-click the weapons bar to pump energy into the agents' PFFs.
There are missions which do not cause game over when you fail them. This is not a bug, and the instructions even allude to such missions.
