Report from the event, by Egoitz.
The last Tuesday, in Santutxu, in the "Café Berria" we met again to play Megadrive; for me, the best console of the World. We gathered 6 players to play to this beautiful console. We played 4 games in total: NBA Live 95, Back to the Future III, Out Run and finally, Syndicate.
First, we plugged in NBA Live 95 and played three games in pairs. The team that scored the most points in each three-minute quarter each pair played won. It was fun.
Then we played Syndicate like last year. Each player had to try to complete the first mission in 3 minutes. Nobody could do it in that time. Definitely this summer I have to see some videos to understand better the game because I like it and I want to improve myself. This time my son and me played and although I achieved to killed 2 agents, I wasn't be able to pass the first mission before 3 minutes.
Next we also played Back to the Future III, a classic in our tournaments because we play it always, although for the most of players it is a hard game. After it and before finishing the competition we played Out Run, another wonderful classic from the arcades of the 80s and 90s. This time I played really well because I managed to finish the game and beat it on "hard" mode. That was great.
The tournament was finally won by Egoitz, but this wasn't the most important. All of us had a great time. In august or October of 2025, if all goes well, we will gather again to play the megadrive.
