Last modified on May 16th, 2005 Syndicate: American Revolt Tips A weapon dropped by other syndicate agents will contain very little ammo but one dropped by the police or a guard will be fully loaded. Persuade as many enemy agents as possible to get loads of cash, and then equip your team with version three modifications. Persuade some innocent people that they can act as shields and can also pick up any weapons they find and fire them at whatever you fire at, in the very tough missions. For the Atlantic Accelerator Mission, equip your group with four shields, two gauss guns, a mini-gun, and a scanner. Once you're in the mission, activate the shields but do not attempt to use the weapons. Now search for detonating agents. Use the mini-gun to finish off the last few. Here's a method for dealing with the last agent in the building. Dispatch any guards which might be around it, and then shoot the side of the building with a gauss gun. If you don't want to lose any members of your team and you think you're going to die, press the 'Esc' key and restart the mission. It's wise to save the game after each successfully completed mission. This may be time consuming but it saves you from having to back track very far if you fail. WATCH THE CLOCK to alter the game's timer so that missions that normally last 17 hours will be extended to several days, thus giving you more time to complete a mission. Raise taxes to 100 percent and complete the easy first level. Deliberately fail to complete the second level. Because of the first mission's high tax rate, the first mission's population rebelled, so you have to repeat it. By repeating this procedure multiple times, you can accumulate as much money as you wish. Solution ALASKA: Protect Move Agent 4 to the east edge of the roof and destroy both police cars. Move another agent to the top of west ramp. Give him a laser so he can kill all enemy agents on the ramp. Agent 4 should be used to destroy the second car coming up the road. As long as you stop all of the enemy agents, this mission is easy. There are sixteen enemy agents. ARGENTINA: Assassination Give a flamer instead of a gauss gun to two men. Hide behind the building to the west. Get one agent to kill the onrushing syndicate from the north. Put the two agents with flamers beside the windows to the west and put the other two agents inside the first building. Fry the enemy as they run around the corner. Once all the agents are dead, pick off some guards with gauss guns. After your gauss guns are empty, steam in with everything you have. There are at least 39 enemy agents. ATLANTIC ACCELERATOR: Defend Base Arm all eight agents with five gauss guns and three lasers. Move them to the east side of their towers. Use gauss guns fired at corners of the buildings to catch some agents in the blast and others will walk into the fire. There are fifty-six enemy agents. BRAZIL: Personnel Acquisition Put all agents in the car. Go south at the crossroads. Stop before you get to the guarded house. Send one agent to kill the guards, one to persuade the target, and one to kill the motionless agents at the west, and one to guard the car. Once an attack wave of agents has been destroyed, put one agent in the car and move him to the evacuate point, killing all hazards. After persuading the target, stay in the building and get the remaining two agents to stand guard at the door. The other agent returns in a car to pick up the squad. There are thirty-two enemy agents. CALIFORNIA: Assassination Destroy the group of agents to the west by firing a gauss gun shot. Go west and up to the monorail platform. Spread your agents out in a square formation. Once the enemy has stopped rushing at you, get off the platform and head north. There are a group of agents in a house and more in a car. Go to the North most building and kill the target. Go back to the drop zone at the start. There are at least thirty enemy agents. COLOMBIA: Combat Sweep Get on the roof of the building to the north as soon as possible. Wait until all sixteen agents are killed, then take one agent east and get the car inside the eastern most building. Take the car back to the squad and go to the north section of the city. Kill the enemy agents. Most of them will put up little resistance. Head north to the northern most building. The target appears as one of the guards on the scanner. There are thirty-two enemy agents. COLORADO: Combat Strike Arrange your men in a square and arm them with lasers. Once the agents stop rushing at you go west through the long building. Use gauss guns to kill crowds and lasers to pick off single soldiers. Save eight gauss gun shots for later. Go west past the first two houses and then north at the crossroads. Destroy the cars with one gauss gun shot each. There are at least fifty-four enemy agents and over a hundred guards. GREENLAND: Information Retrieval Give one man a mini-gun instead of a laser. Use gauss guns on all towers that are within range from the start. Wait for about one minute for a car to come out of the base. Shoot this with the mini-gun to commandeer it. Kill all guards inside the perimeter fencing before going into the inner complex in the car. Kill the guards once inside the base. Get into the ambulance and return to the drop zone when all guards are dead. There are no enemy agents but there're fifty-eight guards. MEXICO: Assassination Put all agents behind the house to the north and use one agent to dodge in and out. You have to destroy all cars with lasers or gauss guns. The policeman who is the target is at the east end of the dual carriageway and T-junctions. There are only eight agents but loads of well armed guards. MID-WEST: Multiple Assassination Put all agents inside the house and wait for the enemy to arrive. Use lasers to kill the agents by leaving the pointer at the door and fire as soon as the crosshairs turn red. Once all enemy agents are dead go and kill the targets. Don't walk about with your gun out unless you want a hassle from the police. There are at least forty-six enemy agents. NEW ENGLAND: Personnel Acquisition On this level some citizens need the same amount of persuasion as a policeman but the target is a normal citizen. Move all your agents into the house and kill enemies as they enter. Wait until they are all dead then move towards the target. Beware when you are entering the west most building because all guards fire guns at you. Kill all guards, persuade the target and return to the drop zone for a pick up. There are twelve enemy agents. NEW FOUNDLAND: Personnel Acquisition Spread your men into a square formation. Hang about until all moving enemy agents have been killed. Move north along the east face of the long tunnel building. Move west picking off all of the agents when they start to run. Continue west until you get between the double fencing follow the fencing south. Kill all guards in the first house you come to and then kill guards at the door of the targets building. Stand at the corner and fire a gauss gun. The blast should take out all the guards but leave the target safe. Persuade the target and go back through the double fencing. Follow the north edge of the city to the pick up point. There are twenty-four enemy agents. NORTH WEST TERRITORIES: Escort Executive Get into police car and stop it just outside the gate. Get out of the police car and put your men in a square formation. Kill all on-rushing enemy agents, some of whom are in a police car. Once all moving agents are dead, send one man west and kill all of the motionless agents. Move the police car and allow the executive to go on his way. There are twenty enemy agents. NORTH WEST TERRITORIES: Hitman Assassination Move north to the row of trees. Move east until you reach the guarded house. Kill guards and destroy roadblock. Go east and put three men on the square of ground east of the T-junction. Send another agent further east to the target house. Kill guards at the door. Steam into the house killing everyone. There are eight or sixteen enemy agents. PARAGUAY: Protect The path that the man takes is; east, south before the eastern most building, west at the fence and stop beside the female citizen. Continue west stopping at another female and, upon reaching the pillar, north, past the house at the first ending of road, and then west between the first two houses. The mission then ends. There are fifty-six enemy agents. PARAGUAY: Recon Sweep There are three methods to do this mission as you are told in the emergency update that all you need to do is evacuate. Each method only requires one agent to be sent in. 1. Give your agent a persuadatron. At the start, persuade two citizens and two policemen. Then go into the house and as the enemy agents run into the house they are persuaded. Once all the enemy agents are persuaded go north and kill the policeman. Get on the monorail and go east to the pick up point. This method can be used if you are low on agents as it is the easiest mission to persuade the enemy. 2. Put your agent inside the house and kill the agents as they run in the door. Follow the directions as in the first method, once all agents have been eliminated. 3. This is probably the hardest one. Go north along the street, on the monorail and east to the pick-up point only pausing to kill agents which catch up with you as you run. ROCKIES: Escort Park your car in front of the targets car. Get out and move two agents south and two south at the street west of the first street. Kill the onrushing agents. Leave one agent beside the target to protect her. Move the other three west, slowly taking out everything, making sure you send at least one agent to take out the roadblock. Lots of agents gather in the far north west so you can kill them all with one laser shot. All of the agents to the extreme west and southwest put up no resistance. Once all enemy agents are dead, move your car out of the target's way and let her do her job. SOUTHERN STATES: Data Acquisition Get to the target as soon as you can, killing as many enemy agents as possible. Go south to the T-junction, west to the crossroads and then follow the road south until you are outside the target building. Move about outside the house until all the agents come out and you can kill them. Once they are dead, persuade the target. Go west to the T-junction then north killing the agents (who put up no resistance). Fire gauss guns at the doors where the guards are and they should get caught by the blast. Get the access card, go back to the start to be picked up. Make sure you protect the informer after persuasion because he walks slower than your agents. There are twenty-eight enemy agents. URUGUAY: Equipment Grab Give each agent five lasers, two gauss guns and a shield, except one agent who gets a scanner and a mini gun instead of the gauss guns. Swap a gauss gun for a persuadatron for another agent. Move two men east to the edge of the city. Move two men east, one persuading all the people and following the road until they reach the junctions. Move the two agents to the west to the north and just inside the complex. Kill the agents on the ground with lasers and the three guards with a mini-gun. Get the medikit and kill the remaining agents on the platform. Stay inside the complex until no more agents attack you. Move the agents, who went east, to the north east complex, and kill all exposed guards. Move all agents into the north east complex and place them on the ramps. Use the agent. Turn on the shield on the platform. If your energy gets to about half, turn on your shield and go back to the rest of the squad. Use an agent who has full energy and do this repeatedly until all guards on the platform are dead. Now use the agent with the persuadatron. Turn on his shield and rush up to the group of guards around the target. Use one agent to clear a path to the pickup point and stick close to the wall, but not so close that a blast of a gauss gun gets you if it misses. The enemy fire about six gauss gun shots at once, so you die if you get caught by them. There are at least forty-eight enemy agents. VENEZUELA: Combat Sweep Set your men up so you can see in all directions but you can only be attacked from two - for example at the T-junction west of the start. Position your men in a square and kill all the enemy agents as they rush at you. There will be a long wait before the final agent comes to meet his doom. There are fifty-six enemy agents. YUKON: Escort CIV Move all of your agents to the other side of the street. Send one agent round the north edge of the building and one round the south side of the building. Move the other two south. If you have done this correctly then the CIV will not move. Position the agent who went round the south side of the building directly across from the alley. Kill the oncoming agents with the two agents that went south. Once they've been killed, use these two agents to sweep the streets, ridding them of all filth and the police. Once all enemy agents are dead, move one of your agents near to the CIV and he'll start his movement. The CIV will not be attacked by the police but there is more fun wasting them.
